Along a busy sidewalk in a busy Washington, DC suburb you will find a large
patch of poison ivy. It's probably about 30' long and 5 to 10' deep. It
looked like a large vine was knocked out of a tree (perhaps
during construction?) and happily took root on the ground. Yikes - this plant
is right at the sidewalk. Picture taken mid-May in USDA zone 6
(mid-Atlantic).
