Has anyone some help for an anxious homeowner like myself on whose yard fell a rather large oak tree, entwined up to a height of sixty feet with a great deal of poison ivy of the three leaf variety. Should the root/stem structures of the vines be removed from the trunk before cutting the tree up and dispposing of it? Any ideas how long the vine will be toxic (if at all)? Does it help to cut the thick (two to three inches thick) main vine at the base to kill the poison ivy plant before proceeding? Thanks for any help
