Hello all,
I feel like we're all one big itchy family. I've come down with a bad bout of what I'm thinking is poison ivy. But now I'm wondering if it may possibly be mangos. I've only had this rashing once before in my life about two years ago (almost to the day)when I returned home from working in Homestead Fla. I suffered through it and immediately educated myself as to what PI, PO and P sumac looked like so I could ensure staying well away from it. Well I've worked in the same areas (once a month) moving through the same bushes (with no PI, I checked closely) for two years and never had another problem until last week. I brainstormed and brainstormed about "what did I do that first week two years ago that I didn't do again until last week?" The only thing I did different, that I only did those two weeks was picked mangos off the same trees. I just read a post on this site of another guy with close to the same story. He seems confident that the mangos caused his blistering. Has anyone ever heard other accounts of this. Please help if anyone knows anything. Until I find out whats really causing this, I'm staying out of the woods completely and these Fla. woods are my sanctuary. Thanks, D.W.
