Found a mini doberman the other day, and every time I touch her I get a poison oak break out on that area of the skin. I have washed her 4 times already over the course of a week and SHE still scratches. I have washed her with shampoo and Tecnu and can't seem to make it stop. Any one have any ideas? The Tecnu has always worked for me. My shephard has no problem (even though I have gotten poison oak from him, he never scratches). I think it is simply a matter of him having a heavy coat and it never gets to his skin, whereas this poor girl has barely any fur at all.
