Hi Gypsy -

Poison ivy and poison oak are often misidentified for the other. Actually, more often poison ivy is misidentified for poison oak. Poison ivy is highly variable in leaflet shapes and it sometimes has deep lobes making it resemble (just a bit) like poison oak.

There is some really cool information on the net (some really bad misinformation too :-( ). I love finding the good informational sites and passing them along.
