Hi Mary -

I have no experience with strawberries as a treatment but I thought I'd chime in with information about properties in strawberries.

Strawberries contain salicylic acid which cleanses by removing impurities and dead skin cells. If salicylic acid looks familiar, its that it is used in over-the-counter acne medications. You can find more information here on Salicylic Acid. Salicylic acid is also used "to treat other skin disorders including dandruff, psoriasis, calluses, corns, warts, and more". There are a number of recipes on the net for making strawberry masks with the intent of nourishing and cleansing the skin. Do a search on Google and you'll see what I mean.
