You stated that you had a recurrence of rash on your elbows and and heels. I thought you'd be interested to know that joints are frequently the locations in which auto-immune reactions manifest themselves. For example, many people with psoriasis initially noticed the psoriatic rash over knuckles, knees, and elbows. A rash at these points can be indicative of an auto-immune response. Could it be possible that your rash is indicative of just "abnormal" immune response to poison ivy antigens? Or have you become auto-immune during your course of exposure? Interesting question.
