I was really worried about it this time cause I was exposed to so much of it but I'm over the poison ivy now, took about 10 days for it to run it's course. It doesn't get much worse than small bumps on me sometimes in clusters. I've had poison ivy several times in my life but only seem to get it between my fingers and on my forearms. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone else but as soon as I realize that I have poison ivy I scub my hands and arms with a clean rag soaked with gasoline. I shower with dawn dish soap every day sometimes twice a day and then scrub the blisters with a cotton ball soaked with rubbing alcohol at least twice a day followed buy some sort of ivy dry type lotion. I'm sure it's not good for my skin but then again my skin is not sesitive at all. I've never had any ill effects from it. I never itch the blisters but boy does it feel good to scrub them with the cotton ball and alcohol! Seem like after about 10 days a person "beats" the poison and it almost goes away over night. Just takes a few days longer for the red areas to go away then.
