| My outbreak has been for about a week now. As posted earlier, I treated myself with Zanfel and also use hot shower water on my rash and follow up with rhuli gel, which gives me several hours of relief. For the last few days, I find myself with a low grade fever, headache and fatigue, usually just in the afternoons. I use Advil and that helps...until the next afternoon. This is the first time I've had these symptoms with a poison ivy outbreak and am wondering if there's a related infection? I won't go to the dr., they just give me a steroid cream that doesn't work nearly as well as the above self-developed system. The rash does go away, unless it's systemic....in about 2-3 weeks for me, usually. Let me know if you find out any info about the headache, nausea, etc. that you're suffering with...I'll do the same. |
