I got poison ivy last year for the first time. The rash started on my hands and proceeded for the next month to spread over various parts of my body. It will come out in blisters, rashes, itchy spots, etc. I had my primary doctor tell me that I had a strange sexually transmitted disease since the symptoms and length of time was not consistant with poison ivy. I immediately went to my dermatologist who laughed so hard I thought he would cry, he said I had poison ivy. Which after thinking about it at his office could pin point when I got it a month earlier. So yes, everything you are describing sounds like a reaction to poison ivy, but no one should diagnose you except your doctor. Good luck I know it must be annoying.
