Maybe it doesn't work equally well for everyone. People have different reactions to poison ivy, maybe the same thing for this.
Is it possible the shower washed it off before it could work? I can't recall whether the instructions say to use it in the shower, but I think it's supposed to be worked into the skin with water and washed off afterward. Good luck.
