Last month I also tried Zanfel based on the glowing reports. Each application temporarily relieved the itch but the rash did not clear as advertised. Like another person, I also called Zanfel and was told that if it did not work then I must have something other than poison ivy.
Apparently the product provides a miraculous cure for some, but not for all. Without a miraculous cure, the price is not justified. Fortunately the drugstore chain where I purchased the product refunded my money. For what its worth, their pharmacy recommended Ivy Off which I will try the next time I am exposed to poison ivy.
