Regarding the situation with cats picking up poison ivy and transferring it via their coat to humans, has anyone found anything to treat the cat with after the cat returns from an outside excursion? I just moved into a new place that has poison ivy all around the neighborhood. I'm sure he'll pass through it at some point and then get it on the furniture or directly on me. I'd like to find something I can use on a daily basis to put on his coat when he comes back inside. Any safe, effective ideas?
