Using as cold water as you can stand is a must if you rinsing up after a suspected exposure and do not use soap. Soapy warm/hot water will open up pores and will get you a bigger dose of the toxin and spread it over a wider area. After the initial cleanup you can resume using soap and warm water because subsequent symptoms and spreading are your bodies allergic reaction.
