Id say use really hot water and bleach.....But ill tell u what i did when i finally relized my rash was poison oak ,, I threw away my yard sneakers i had on the day i came in contact ,and my pruners, and my shorts , washed my jacket 3 times in hot w/ tide and im still scared to put it back on . This is no joke , i can replace all those things ... would much rather , then go through the stress of wondering if its safe. And the funny thing is the plant sprouted right up again this spring ,,, but i asure u it will not survive!!!!! Susan
