Ok, I think I understand, let me know if I have this right. If you rinse extremely well with cold water directly after exposure, you shouldn't get a rash or be able to spread it. Unless it is on your clothes, shoes, etc. What should I do if I can't do anything for 30 minutes or an hour after exposure? I've been told to use Dawn dishwashing liquid and a nail brush (scrub brush.) But what I have been reading here says do not scrub. If the oil is on my shoes, will it go away or do I have to wash them? Can I just run cold water over them? (time limit after exposure?) Will it dry blisters out if I wash with hot water and Dawn and put caladryl on? If I cover the blisters will it prevent them from drying? I need all the help I can get. I have a 3 month old and breastfeed. And I will be exposed to it again, it's in a garden in front of my house that I'm trying to clear out. There are tiny baby plants that I didn't realize were PI or PO.
