I am 57 and experiencing my first episode. It took 10 days from the day I was exposed to my first blister. It is mainly confined to my hands and arms, somewhat scattered, a few small patches. I have tried hydrogen peroxide, tea tree oil, CalaGel (along with Tecnu), Ivarest, and even a prescription foam, and today I'm using Band-Aid calamine spray. I guess they all helped to some degree, but my best results (and true for my son who gets it at least once a year)is applie cider vinegar. I have it in a spray bottle that I spritz on about every 30 minutes and dry in front of the fan. Good luck.
