| Whatever you do about the poison ivy: DON'T BURN IT. The oil that causes rashes, Urioshol, can be transmitted through the smoke. I've heard white vinegar can kill the plant, but I'm not too sure about it. As for the rashes, a visit to the doctor would be advisable. You'd probably be given a prescription for an oral steroid. A trip to the pharmacist would show you products like cortisone, ivy-dry, calamine, and many antihistamines. Good luck with everything, I know how painful it is to deal with. |
