I'm on the downhill side of a pretty severe systemic case of p.i.
I've been on steroids orally, and had a cortisone shot. I tried Zanfel, but it didn't really help me. What helped in the end was Olux steroid foam from my dermatologist. He said the 6-day prednisone packs the family doctors prescribe just make the rash spread with a vengeance. I'm living proof of that. I've been dealing with this horror for 6 weeks, and still have the last of the rash left to heal. I itch like crazy, too, although most of the rash is gone.

My pharmacist said that Zanfel was the best OTC remedy he knew of. I guess my case was more serious than most, so I'm probably not the best example of if Zanfel works.

Feel better soon!
