Well, there is a light at the end of the tunnel and it's not a train!! I started with PI over three weeks ago and after a trip to the doctor for a shot, oral predisone, steriod cream and any over the counter thing I could get my hands on (Ivy Dry, Caladryl, Calimine Lotion, Baking soda and vinegar or witch hazel etc. etc. etc.........I'm finally left with just ugly dark scars on my arms. I've been free of itching for 24 hours, which is a godsend. I still have warm, red patches that I try not to scratch otherwise little bumps appear. But the oozing and weeping is completely clear and things are finally taking a turn for the better. I am just posting this to let others know that it does go away eventually but it really takes it's own sweet time. It was the first time I had PI and hope to never get it again. I have a newfound respect for that little plant that I pulled while weeding almost one month ago. So, don't give up, try anything that has worked for someone else and sooner or later it works it's way out of your system. Now, I worry when it will come back?!?!?
