Im pretty sure its just your skin going back to normal and from tightening back up to normal size with all the water build up from the rash or just from the dry skin area.
I know my elbow right now has swole a extra size one or two fingers where the skin getting back to normal again about a week from complete dryness. And it ITCHes more than the sumac.
