You'll have to judge for yourself. Heat from the sun or from just working inside the house made me itch, and hot showers were miserable! I know some people swear by them, but where normally I'm a "shower freak"----I like taking long, hot showers, I found myself dreading them and trying to get through them as quickly as possible. Staying cool was a must for me. It won't take you long to figure out what works best for you. Although it did seem strange that wearing long-sleeves blouses to work seemed to minimize the itching, sometimes I would just rub it really hard through the sleeve, but at least I wasn't clawing at it with my fingernails. I work in a hospital and it's always cold in my office, so maybe that helped too. Anyway, good luck and God bless.
