| Most websites state you need 14 days of steroids. I got a 7 day course from an on-call doc and got rebound (rash got worse) and then my doc gave me a shot and I got rebound AGAIN (yikes), add to that I got chemical burns from Ivy Dry (don't buy it) so it was a pretty miserable 2 weeks. My recommendation is to get thee to the doc IMMEDIATELY if you see an outbreak; a steroid shot can stop it if gotten in time. If not, you MUST have the 14 day course; print out info from the websites if you have to. Hope you're feeling better... |
