Have you tried Zanfel? It's expensive but really helps. I used it and mine comes back because it's in my system now and more of the oil keeps coming up as soon as I get rid of the top layer, I guess. I walk around with a bowl of ice and ice the place that itches as soon as it starts (and I'm itching over my entire body). That really helps a lot. Also, since I can't afford to keep buying Zanfel, I get a Q-tip and put clorox on new lesions when they appear and then wash it off after about 10 minutes. If it's systemic, the itch can go on for weeks I'm told. Ugh. I hope yours goes away soon! |
