| I contacted poison Ivy about 10 days ago. The symptoms didn't appear for almost 48 hours, and I was given prednisone and antibiotics last week. I reacted very strongly to the prednisone, it kept me very edgy and unable to sleep, so the doctor then gave me a steroid cream 0.05% and prescribed anti histamines last tuesday. The rash has since spread everywhere but on my face, my right arm has been swollen for a week, and it still itches. It seems that I am having a bad allergic reaction and nothing seems to help my body work through the rashes? I have tried all the OTC remedies and nothing seems to help...any advice? |
