Well folks Im here to tell you that you can immune yourself to catching poison Ivy by eating it. My dad catches it and all my brothers catch it. I love to hunt and be in the outdoors so I used to catch it about 2 to 3 times a year most of the time It required medical attention. I was highly allergic to it. One night at work I had a pretty bad case of it in the bend of my left arm it was swelling my arm so tight that my hand was loosing circulation so I went to the emergency room and got a shot and went back to work. This guy at work said Hey I know how to cure you from getting poison Ivy and he said you eat it. I just about fell on the floor laughing there was no way I was going to eat it. I had a relative who just about died from poison ivy becaue he made sassafrass tea and got poison Ivy roots in it. So then he told me how to do it. he said his grandmother was taught by some doctor on some tropical Island how to do it. This guy was a good guy so I listened. He said in the spring when the pi starts getting them new little red leaves on top of it. You take tweezers or have someone else pick it for you. Because if you get it on you any where externally you will get a really severe case after eating it too. Anyway you pick one leaf for an adult put it on a slice of bread fold the bread so you do not touch your mouth going in. Chew it up until its liquid in your mouth and swallow it then chase it with two 8 oz glasses of water and immediately go work up a sweat for a couple hours.
Well I didnt beleive him until I read in a medical book that pi is only an external toxin. The bood said its not toxic internally. I was really scared but I did it. It was 1992 when I did it and Ive never caught it sense then. None of my kids catch it either, They were all born after that, but my dad and my brothers still catch it because they wont listen to me and eat it. I didnt want to beleive the guy, but he was a good christian guy I knew he wouldnt lie about something like that. Folks I did it and it works I dont give a care about what someone else tells you It will work. How do you think vaccines work?? The key to it is to not get it on yourself on your skin when you eat it. If you do then you will regret it you will get it worse than you ever have in your life. Thats the trick to getting by with it is to not get it on your skin. I even washed around my mouth after eating it just in case some leaked out. The guy said he was cured as a kid from catching it he said he eats some about every 3 years just to stay immuned to it. Folks Im not lying to you check it out about it being toxic internally.
