I hope not. I too am covered in the legs and so swollen can barley bend my knee and my whole body is like the Michelin Man. From all the reading I've been doing though and what the doctor said, never heard of it getting into the blood stream since its a topical reaction to the oil.
I would think it could be ingested through lungs and stomach but I'm sure not willing to find out!
