This really is the most evil awful experience ever. Being a very poor individual with no health insurance makes it harder. Corn starch bath helped sooth my pain A LOT (should use baking soda though). Bleach the effected areas then place liquid dish soap on it and let dry. that helped as well. sucks to be poor AND have poison ivy.
