| The poison ivy I grew up with in Cincinnati looked just like this. It was the most common type of poison ivy around, although there were quite a very varieties. Notice that the newer leaves are reddish and little bit shiny. They're very red and shiny when they're brand new. This plant was responsible for lots and lots of itching in my family! |
