My wife and I would like to know whether the attached is poison ivy or poison oak. We found this and several other identical plants growing in our shrubbery beds in Arlington, Texas, in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. They do not seem to be vines, but are growing as separate plants (or seemingly so although they may have a common root system). My wife recently developed a rash that the doctor identified as poison ivy but we do not know the source. This triggered our search for poison ivy plants in our beds where she often weeds. You have our permission to use these photos. Thanks, Gary Sanborn
