Question Asked: Poison ivy? Taken in my backyard in North Texas (near Dallas)
Answer: Chris - as you may have already guessed. Yup - you have poison ivy. The first pictures shows a very healthy plant with all of the key characteristics we look for. Woody stem with aerial rootlets (hairy tendrils), alternating leaves with 3 leaflets. Middle leaflet pointed and on a longer stem. Nice color on these leaves - guess this is an ideal spot for the plant to grow. |
