Question Asked: These pictures were taken in my backyard in NW Houston. These vines are coming over my fence, through my fence and under my fence. I have a rash on my arms and legs after clearing these "small tree limbs" two weeks ago, I assume it is poison ivy.
Answer: Michele - I'm with you in that it does look like poison ivy. The overall shape of the plant and what I could make of the vines certainly looks right. In the second picture, we get to see a variety of leaflet shapes. The odd one for me to see is that middle leaflet with 2 lobes one on each side. Almost looks like a 3 fingered hand. Poison ivy leaves do vary in shape so I'm not surprised. |
